health: your never-ending journey

There are critical issues in my life that need to be addressed first. I need to eat well. I need to take care of myself. Once I’ve done these things, I can take care of my son. Then I can take care of my work. Then I can take care of the house.
Let me tell you a little something about ten pounds, random person who doesn’t know me but thinks I need to lose weight because I am a female on social media.
Why? Because it won’t. The changes to the cells were visible, right there on that screen, on my little cervix. And it made me feel sick.
Don’t make self-care the frou-frou thing we so often pretend it is and push it lower and lower down your list of important things to do.
