Two days from now, a mere 48 hours away, I’ll be lying in a recovery room at The Landings Surgical Centre after having abdominoplasty surgery. Not familiar? You might have heard it called a “tummy tuck” before!
When I first decided to research tummy tucks, I felt a bit weird. I’m not a celebrity. I’m not crazy rich. Isn’t plastic surgery only something crazy rich and/or famous people do? Clearly not. Since I’m doing it.
When I set out to do my research, I was disappointed to find I had a hard time finding publicly available, first-person information locally. So, even though it was uncomfortable, I decided to rip off the Band-Aid and tell the world:
I’ve launched a blog that’s fully focused on the pre- and post-operative experience! I’ll also be sharing on my Instagram. And, since I’m taking at least one week off work, I’ll need something to keep me busy- right?
