It’s almost unimaginable that two years have passed since this photo was taken.
A lot has happened in two years, and while it hasn’t all been a walk in the park there isn’t a single thing I’d change.
I can’t count high enough to possibly ever count all of my blessings, but I’m thankful for each and every one of them. I’m thankful for every obstacle I’ve had to climb, crawl and throw myself over. I’m thankful for all the times I’ve breezed through things. I’m thankful for every hiccup. My life would be nothing without them.
I’m thankful that, for the second time in as many years, my parents are filling in for me while I get settled in a new place. I’m thankful that I have the opportunities to do the things I do – like go to BlissDom Canada and be a part of Yummy Mummy Club and that I have a job that more than pays the bills.
I’m thankful that I have a gregarious toddler to keep me on my toes, and I’m especially thankful that he’s healthy and too smart for his own good.
I’m blessed to have an amazing network of talented men and women in my life, many of whom I consider dear friends. I’m also pretty lucky to have Mr Hockey Coach to play Little Big Planet and eat nachos with.
And I’m super thankful that, two years later, F and I could shoot this photo. A lot has changed, wouldn’t you say?
Wherever you are today, whatever you’re doing, consider all you have to be thankful for. The enormous obstacle in front of you is a gift. The little hiccups? They’re precious beyond any valuation. They are shaping you and your life.
Happy Thanksgiving from my little family to yours.
