The first weeks with a new baby are always a rollercoaster. At 12 weeks postpartum, here’s what I couldn’t have done without so far.
First, I drove (and still drive) a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback that my spouse refers to as “girly green”. It was and is cool to 20-something women and grandmothers, and perhaps small children who don’t understand what is and isn’t cool yet.

At eight months pregnant, I’ve got a lot of things on my mind. We haven’t completely finished setting up the nursery; our hospital bags aren’t fully packed; the car seat will need to be installed; the last few items need to be picked up.
