Before last week, I had never heard of “Christmas Crack” much less tasted it. I can now say that it is probably more addictive than heroin and definitely the best thing since sliced bread. The perfect combination of sweet and salty, it’s as easy to make as it is easy to eat… and if you can fight the temptation to devour it all in one sitting, you might even make a gift out of it.
In little time at all, we had a fridge full of Christmas Crack which wasn’t allowed to stay there. It’s not almost gone, sitting on the table in the marketing department at work. Sorry (not sorry) coworkers!
Since baking is a favourite pastime and also because there’s nothing better to receive than a handmade gift, I actually spent a good chunk of my weekend with a mixer in hand… and that’s how I’ll spend most of the week, too! Next on the agenda: Shortbread, sugar cookies and chocolate-candy cane pretzels.
Happy Holidays!
This is truly addictive! Sooo good. I may be in trouble if the next hit isn’t free

You know … I have never made this. Shocker, I know! But it is just such a simple homey recipe that I think I better make some this year. π I think, aside from pouring the molten hot magma-esque sugar solution, my Things would enjoy making it!
